I was going away for a few days and picked up one of my cats to say bye. His reaction was to immediately kick himself off my chest and sprint downstairs. He was also meh about my return. Gotta love him.

My orange figure that I thinl her belly is very cute so now everytime she wants atention she will lay belly up, like a dog, and call me. I, like a well trained slave, will go rub her belly everytime and then she gets the treats she wanted because she is so cute and fluffy

One of ours will try to suicide under my feet until I pick him up and hold him like a baby.

I had to get a baby sling for when I’m trying to clean.

But, for some reason all of our 7 cats are, according to the vets, the best behaved cats they’ve seen. We recently had to get one of their eyes looked at, and they spent the whole time talking about how they wished all cats were chill like her (they had to stain her eyes)

I’m pretty sure it’s because we constantly fuck with them, so they’re used to it.

Yep we had the same philosophy, played with them all day as kittens. Now when I’m watching tv they like to hop up and nap either laying on or sitting next to me with one paw out to stay touching me.

It’s interesting to see the effect the nurture aspect can have, we currently have a foster who was a rescue stray and she loves head scratches but any time you pick her up you get about 3 seconds before she bails.
