Google announced today that VPN by Google One is shutting down in the coming months.
Google is now “discontinuing the VPN feature as [they] found people simply weren’t using it.” The company tells 9to5Google that the deprecation will let the team “refocus” and “support more in-demand features with Google One.”
Why would one trust a VPN of a spy-ware company?
Because they trust McDonald’s and Starbucks wifi even less.
Well I’m not against No-Log VPNs,
I use them on the daily myself. However using a VPN of a spy-ware company kinda defeats the purpose.
Once they killed reader, I stopped using any google services that I didn’t have to for some other reason.
Reader was the GOAT, as the kids say.
What’s the point in a VPN that doesn’t support torrents?
Pretending you’re in a different country while using streaming services.
Yeah, well I’m all done with asking nicely.
That’s okay. You’re not the target demographic of every product.
Just use Mullvad.
