Having only recently eschewed “mainstream” music, I was surprised when this “alternative” Sydney band, that I quite liked, hit it real big (at least by Australian standards) by going to number one with the Tingles EP that this is the lead track for.

They were getting the kind of chart heart-throb adulation that was usually reserved for New Kids on the Block or similar. Of course, this was all quite galling, but at least I could enjoy some indie snobbery. I had heard of them before they got famous and could also appreciate the origins of the track My Bloody Valentine that was also on the EP!
