Difficult sell, because the engines don’t cost much, don’t need much maintenance and mostly importantly, don’t use much fuel.
They will also outlast a lithium battery pack which would cost nearly as much as the entire bike to replace. Although it appears this system offers a battery exchange service? Hopefully that works out because the short lifespan and high cost of lithium batteries are still what holds them back from being viable in many situations.
