What exactly you have installed with snaps? Anyway, nice setup, care to share your startpage?
I get it, how do you manage your backups may I ask (configs or otherwise)?
Nice, I should look into it. Hey, why don’t you make a git repo with your files?
you have a separate partition for steam?
Can’t be, I started using Linux just a year ago and Arch since November. I broke something, tried to rollback, broke it more. I learnt my lesson and now I read most of the docs of anything that messes with the system before even installing.
this happened to me once, oh man… it was painful
The app is called Mousam, just checked on NixOS’ repo and it is there. :) Oh and please tell me how your setup go, I have been interested on NixOs and Void and been taking notes on the quirks I might encounter. And I would appreciate if you would share your config too if that is not a problem.
Yes, but only you lower the opacity beyond certain point. If you want to keep the text opacity but change the background you can use alacritty(which I used before foot) and set the the background opacity in its configuration file. Anyway I have every background set to a dark tone and a conservative 0.9 opacity does not change much the text relative to our perception, one will not even notice unless someone told you.
Porting configurations to fastfetch is painful.
Hyprland has an integrated feature that can control opacities of windows. It is pretty neat.
Forgot to mention that Images might be shifted towards the red spectrum because of gammastep.
Correct! It is Logseq. Which is basically Obsidian but foss. :)
I find it useful changing instances in invidious, there is usually at least one up and running. You could use Clipious or Materialious apps on Android for easy access. Btw I once had Tubular, Newpipe, Libretube(piped.video) and Clipious installed all at the same time because of the same issues with Youtube attacking privacy front ends.
Hayppy Cake Day!
You can enable medium mode but you need to allow some permissions to trusted websites like banks to not lose your head because websites are broken.
I read an interesting take on some site and it said that we are leaving Capitalism for Feudalism where the kings are now big Companies.
Not going to lie, AI can be a very powerfull tool but the “we want your browsing experience to be divine, but don’t worry we have your back” scares me shitless. Firefox has always had our backs, why do they feel the need to mention it now? Maybe I’m being paranoid but I feel like a browser shoulf just be a browser.
