Of course! Do you know who was also an immigrant? Mary Anne MacLeod who was married to, and had children with, Fred Trump who was himself a first-generation American.
I was watching a video of a Trump supporter dressed head to toe in the American flag being interviewed at a rally. The guy asked something and, while trying to answer, she asks “do you really want to go there?” and casually drops that disasters were being caused by the government.
“The government… controls the weather?” he asks. It took a second but you could see the gears ticking. The penny finally drops, and she pivots to a vague “it’s the elite [few]”. Like ok I guess we’re making shit up as we go.

But then he started hanging out with this one lesbian who was kinda shady, was dealing, was stealing, and pretty much tainting this guy once they became friends and that’s when he started doing it himself, so I cut ties.
Such a shame we can’t be friends anymore.

Also religion and guns. I’ve been publicly mocked for it and someone I knew IRL went off on me on social media. So bizarre this land of the free.

The fuCK? And years later, fell for another one because the credit card was imposed on me by an Amazon subcontractor during training. They made it seem mandatory for logistical reasons, and I was oblivious. They made it as hard as possible to cancel the damn thing so a lot of people fucked over their credit.
I’ve learned a lot since.

Fucking hell I was gonna say, you call that family??
I wouldn’t say it’s a definitive answer. While there’s no expert consensus on the etymology of Mexico, it’s often argued to mean the “place in the navel of the moon” in Nahuatl:
metztli (moon), xictli (navel or center) y co (place)
There’s no reference to that on the list even though it’s mentioned in another article:
