Edit: tag [#illusion] Controlling the Rain by Jesse Eisenberg

Actor in scene: Jesse Eisenberg

Movie director: Jon M. Chu

I took this clip and trimed it a bit (editing may be janky). There is kinda a dilemma with this clip. We can perceive it as floating but in reality it isn’t floating (strobe lights trick the eyes).

Interestingly you can buy humidifiers that use the same principle to make water appear to float.

Hi thanks for letting me know. Unfortunatley lemmy doesn’t support tagging 😓 .

The closest alternative I can do is embed the tag in the title:

    • [#illusion] Controlling the Rain by Jesse Eisenberg
    • [illusion] Controlling the Rain by Jesse Eisenberg

Edit (not possible bellow only above work): [#illusion] Controlling the Rain by Jesse Eisenberg

    • [[#illusion]](https://fedia.io/tag/balloons) Controlling the Rain by Jesse Eisenberg
    • [illusion] Controlling the Rain by Jesse Eisenberg
      • [[illusion]](https://fedia.io/tag/balloons) Controlling the Rain by Jesse Eisenberg

top two options don’t hyperlink the fedia tag bottom two do (code shows the markdown syntax for linking). Curious on a good way to go about this

Edit scratch that I can’t embed links into titles (forgot)

I’m still trying to figure out a good implementation for our Reddit post flairs across Lemmy and Kbin. Kbin lets me give my posts multiple tags, but there are problems.

For one, Lemmy doesn’t see Kbin’s tags or badges at all. I don’t even think they get Kbin’s OC tag. I’ll have to manually add the hashtag to the post body to make it even visible on Lemmy. Edit: Kbin tags don’t federate at all, not even to other Kbin instances.

Second, neither Lemmy nor Kbin let you search by tag within a magazine/community. I’ve been relying on all ten of our tags going unused in the rest of the Fediverse, so when someone clicks the tag, they get mostly Floating Is Fun posts. I changed the subreddit’s Space tag to microgravity to avoid some of these conflicts. Unrelated posts still get caught up in windpower though.

Third, my tag implementation only looks good when my CSS is used, but my CSS only gets loaded when viewing on my home instance.

I think I figured it out. All you have to do is include a hashtag in the post body. I did that with this post here and the whole Fediverse can see it. Lemmy and Kbin are even smart enough to make those hashtags link back to a tag search on fedia.io. For a list of the ten hashtags, look in the sidebar and use any that apply, with a #
