    There’s probably something deeper here, like people are generally mistrusting of people who fall outside of their preferred norms.

      Cops don’t like people that annoy them, which is anyone who isn’t exactly like them and kisses their ass. Autistic people don’t pick up on social cues and dumb cops hate anybody that doesn’t immediately cower in their presence and respect their authority.
