Last I checked, 4 Israeli journalists were killed or captured, but (and this is important) they were not killed because they were journalists. It’s not like they were clearly marked PRESS, unarmed, and far from conflict zones. 3 out of 4 were not even at work, they were just people killed on Oct 7 who happen to be journalists. One was reporting on the music festival when she was killed.
