Update: I survived. There were some turbulences that brought me closer to God but it was all good. Unfortunately I could not sue them either. I missed my train though and had to wait.
I like to tell myself that in an airbus this wouldn’t have happened m.
Emergency exit seat probably not popular nowadays
The ‘door’ that blew out wasn’t an emergency exit: it was a plug that filled the hole where an emergency exit would go, if they put more seats in the plane and needed more exits.
From the inside of the plane, it looks like any other row except the window spacing is a bit off. Not an exit row.
