For those unfamiliar, RetroAchievements is a service that adds achievements to a ton of Retro games and game hacks. In fact, there’s as of right now over 7,800 games and hacks with achievement sets, counting nearly 360,000 total achievements. The website also has an achievement score system that works into a total score for players, as well as a bunch of community features.

I personally think this project is great because it gives me some reason to go back and replay games I’ve loved, and encourages me to play more of games that I think I’ll love. My personal favourite systems with RA support are N64, SNES, PS1, PS2, GBA, and Nintendo DS.

I hope people find this community to their liking. Please let me know of any changes you want in how I do things around here, but until then I’ll be doing all I can to contribute and create a community!
