I like to watch videos published by Nick from The Linux Experiment. In the latest video he talks about the developments in the new Cosmic, The quality of life touches and polishing of KDE, and the apps coming to gnome (like snoop). It is all really cool and I can’t wait to try them all :)
I just realized this a few days ago. This is a very big reason why i’ll be keep using linux.
POV:
Linux: lets goo there are new updates
Windows: there are new updates… please no more AI and edge…
The other thing is just how much I hate Windows Update. I can tolerate most parts of Windows, but WU is objectively terrible. It’s incredibly slow, requires multiple restarts (sometimes forced!) amd sometimes fails with random errors that are impossible to troubleshoot.
It goes without saying that most Linux package managers work incredibly well in comparison.
