Summary

A judge has ordered Rudy Giuliani to appear in a New York courtroom after he missed a deadline to surrender assets, including a $5 million apartment and a 1980 Mercedes—which appeared to be the same car he was spotted in on Tuesday—as part of a $148 million defamation judgment awarded to former Georgia election workers Ruby Freeman and Wandrea “Shaye” Moss.

Giuliani, who was found liable for falsely accusing the pair of election fraud, has not yet turned over the required items.

His lawyers cited a broadcasting commitment and claim he relies on the car for transportation, but the judge denied requests to delay the hearing.
