What kind of armor plated ball is that, the claws aren’t doing anything
It’s most likely a boomer ball
So this got me thinking. Would carrying a laser pointer save your life if you got attacked by a wild cat (mountain Lion or something) or a bear? Assuming you tried to use it to distract the animal.

Maybe if you can get it to chase the dot into a running woodchipper but I wouldn’t count on it.
