It’s far more than basic image editing, but it’s also far more akin to Photoshop than GIMP is imo.
What about KolourPaint?
I’ve just been using libre office draw but if anyone has a better alternative I’d love to hear it.
Try Pinta! It’s pretty nice and minimal!
