As someone who isn’t just looking for a place to discuss digital piracy, but also look for friends and to slowly move away from Discord, should I use Revolt or Divolt? I can’t decide, and I don’t know if I can handle having both accounts.

    If you want to keep it between your friends, use the main instance (revolt.chat) and setup a group chat/private server. Revolt’s AUP does not allow discussion or sharing of copyrighted material which divolt does. You can learn more at https://revolt.chat/aup.

    Otherwise, feel free to contact us if you want to setup a community on divolt for everyone.

    There’s probably a matrix instance someplace, which would be my personal preference. Maybe someone has some suggestions.

    It can also be self hosted, but I’m sure there are hosted instances out there for this kind of thing already.
