I finished season 2 of Pantheon this week. Excellent show although I’m not sure I agree philosophically with how it ended, the fact that it engages me philosophically at all is huge points in its favor.

Trigun Stampede. I’m just on ep 2 and I’m still not into it. I miss the art style of the original. This new cgi version feels lacking in character expressions and depth with how it’s animated.

I recently watched the boy and the heron for the first time. I was able to rent it on Apple TV. I have to say the stream was enjoyable and I’ll probably rent again when I come across another Apple gift card. The movie on the other hand was excellent. I had no idea about the artist when I first watched it but after watching videos online about them. I understand the film better, and it’s very perplexing without that information. I’m planning on watching more ghibli movies in the future. The only other one I’ve seen is Kiki’s delivery service
