AI “artists” out there in droves trying to make commissions with slop
Huh, I’m not on discord often, but I did get some DMs begging me for a commission work, “it’s cheap bro, only 10 dollars bro” - bro, I live in fucking Brazil and earn BRL, not USD.
Didn’t know it was an actual scam attempt, just random spam from starving artists.
I had one too it was weird they were just asking for commission work, they provided a portfolio of fairly mediocre art and they were asking a good bit much even at “discount” for it so I declined and they left me alone. Might not have been a scam really
It’s probably a ransom attempt. They ask for admin to apply all the “art” to your server and then lock you out or something, asking for more money.
Makes no sense to target me as I’m not an admin anywhere and, afaik, you can always tell who’s an admin or moderator on discord. But eh, these guys aren’t exactly known for being smart
