    Ask your instance moderators if they are blocking posting images. My instance isn’t allowing the posting of images for the time being because of the CSAM problem

      Yes, this is the answer right here. I know I’m 5 days late to the conversation and my input contributes absolutely nothing but I’m just really talkative right now. But you are right, some instances in Lemmy have blocked all image uploading due to a nefarious barrage of csam. I don’t know if that’s still the case but it apparently was 5 days ago.
