I still lowkey believe the conspiracy theory that Milei’s libertarianism is an experiment by global financial capital to see how far they can push a national working class before they revolt.

I can call it anarcho-capitalist if you want but I have issues with that term as well. His policies mostly align with free market absolutism which is the American conception of “libertarianism” so I thought the term was appropriate.

I understand I just find it annoying since it has nothing to do with liberty. He’s not really an ancap either. He’s just another charlatan trying to help the rich get richer, and consolidate power for himself.

Already has to some degree. But, really, it would be more helpful if we stopped trying to think of things in terms of Countries. Thats not how the world works anymore. Sure, it still has some influence. But the interest of all wealthy aligned in their class interest.

They might fight amongst one another and use state relationships to their advantage. But at the end of the day all ruling class of the world own a piece of the US and every other major country to some degree. The interest of the wealthy first and foremost align with their ruling class position.

All we are seeing now is the working class of the US begin to be treated in the same manner as how the states of the past treated the working class of “third world” nations. They feel as though they no longer have to compromise with the working class in the imperial core.

They are confident enough in their power and connections that they no longer have to hold on to the ideas of nations for anything more than to divide those they rule over.

It’s about time we all learned this. Especially, in the US. We are no longer “special”. They will build the slavery that they have in the rest of the world “at home”. Its what they are doing now. You think the “child labor” that built our electronics was because of “bad countries”? No, it was formed by the same class and people that have power today. This is nothing more than what has been done for centuries; the only difference is it’s being turned inward on the people that bought the lies of “freedom”.

            this. i once heard this:

Late stage capitalism is when colonialism is turned inward.

when States use colonialist techniques on their own soil and people.

which is exactly what you described.

I was going to suggest Russia, but Russia’s having a hard time bankrolling Russia right now.

Millei’s anarcho-capitalist/libertarianism, and Trump’s fascism and oligarcs put together this bailout.

The neoliberals were the ones that bent over and spread their cheeks for the fascists and let all this shit happen.

More likely a Missy/The Master cycle than a Doctor cycle BUT we could be seeing a war doctor situation where he’s just crashing out.
