Bummer ~ The link worked when I posted it, but now it does not anymore, even when I insert another Nitter instance. I chose Nitter because Twitter links do not appear to get a thumbnail and preview on Lemmy - at least last time I checked. The preview and thumbnail still work for me though luckily.

the thumbnail does work very well tho, i can expand it, the only problem is if i click the thumbnail itself and not the expando button, in which case it takes me to a “nothing here” nitter screen.

Tiff had the excellent idea of just hotlinking to the image directly and posting the tweet url in the body. Works perfectly for me now.
