I was with you until the Deep Rock Survivor, but good lord, that one is way better than halls of torment. While it’s not necessary, the ability to mine traps and hallways to escape is a sweet addition.

Red is also less ‘damaging’ to your night vision. https://www.nps.gov/articles/dark-adaptation-of-the-human-eye-and-the-value-of-red-flashlights.htm
Aye, it’s all about what theme you’re exploring or mood that’s being set. We don’t have batman exploding into mist when he fights people who can lift planes/cruise ships with their bare hands, because that’s not the story being told. When the theme is about the consequences of powers, rather than the escapism and being good (the ‘super’ part of superman being his morals and convictions), we get the boys and their (gory) explosions.
Aye that’s part of what I was saying. Now, the argument could be made that if the octopus is smart enough to have the goal of moving through the tract, they could muscle open the sphincter. I haven’t ever tested an octopus against a sphincter. The controlled variable would have to be octopus size…
Off hand, I think the sphincter would win out until the octopus is too big to fit through without rupturing other areas.
No, it’s not. I’ve had three dogs in my life, and been at plenty of houses with dogs. I’ve never noticed an odd smell that comes from their feet, and I have a horribly sensitive sense of smell.
I mean, some octopodes are pretty small. The real issue is them moving through the GI tract. They might be flexible enough, but propelling themselves forward consistently would be the real feat.
To the first, yep, it definitely won’t work. It’s too bad we know the addresses of the actual assholes doing all this, but (nearly) all protesting is carried out in… some other stratosphere of the vicinity.
As for the second? Yup. I’ve got three dependents to take care of and various other people who I help out. There’s no way I can contemplate letting them all suffer if something happened to my income. We’re wage slaves.
Oh, just insert whatever you remember from reddit. Replies that are obviously jokes but off topic, mimicking a meme or such; doing the ‘follow the link’ meme (though I only remember that one popping up once or twice); sounding out a sentence one word per reply… I saw all of those get panned or promoted. Some people screamed about leaving such habits at reddit, others thought they were the height of humor.
That’s been a welcome change in the last ~6 months. It was a fire hose blast of people going back and forth on whether a ‘thing’ was brought over from reddit, and whether or not it was welcome.
For anyone not believing this, go to https://consumer.risk.lexisnexis.com/consumer and do that consumer report. They are (depending on your state) required to tell you everything they have on you, and they include where it came from. It’s eye-opening.
Sure, facebook has been doing it for years. They build shadow profiles on people, allegedly ‘only’ (massive air quotes around that one) so if those people ever join they’ll have links and photos and such already waiting for them.
It definitely counts as an unreasonable change. If you quietly accept it, or quit due to it, you won’t get the help. If you set things up in your favor by replying to the mandate with language along the lines of ‘such a significant change to working conditions requires a renegotiation of my contract’ then you’re placing yourself in a good position to say that you were constructively dismissed, not that you quit.
A change from working wherever you are (which could be hours away if you were full remote) to the office is just as significant as being moved from one metropolis to another.
You forgot the ‘lots’ portion. It was not a small amount of liquid.
Holy crap, 3500 games‽ I thought I was bad with 1/10 of that and mostly low play hours. I wish I had your organization, because my factorio layout is so bad that I just gave up on trying to be small and well designed. Everything must have miles-long conveyors!
Full body workout, yes, but also a really good stretch when you want to let the other guy have his fun.
Ah, yes, mount and blade. Where not becoming a solo warrior of death horse archer is harder than not becoming a stealth archer in skyrim. If it helps, I liked to have big armies of the super ground archers and put two groups of shield infantry on the left and right of them. It seemed to work okay against horse archers.
I know of some individuals who have been sitting in jail, waiting for a trial, for longer than the maximum sentence they could have been given. If you are poor and/or live in a shitty area, your ‘rights’ don’t always mean all that much.
That sort of goes along with his point. The orange part is separate from the cream part.
I think you’re thinking of basset hounds. Beagles ears aren’t all that big. Bigger in comparison to head size than a terrier’s or a shepherd breed, but not ‘trip over them’ basset hound size.
I mean, sort of. It was funny when she got pissed off and did some stupid stuff to make him leave. Didn’t she throw a refrigerator, and him with it, through the house wall?
