Ima have to say The Neverhood and Skullmonkeys.
Definitely remasters though, no remakes.
Aqua and Toy Box. Dog bless the early 2000’s
That hurts on a visceral level at first glance
Well shit. That looks freaking amazing. Hopefully it comes to the PlayStation eventually.
Edit: opened my fat mouth before doing my research. It is available for multiple platforms. Score!
Iirc, we introduced a strider-style bike around that age. Even ride-on toys can fill that role as we in the northern hemisphere move into the colder months.
Necessary? No. Nice to have? Absolutely.
‘Tis the season. Roasting green chile is (nearly) in the air. Makes me want to swing by El Modelo to stock up the freezer.
Yeah, looks closer to red chile to me, but the lines blur a lot around these parts
Holds it together while it cooks, so probably both in this instance
You gotta do 4 minutes and change with three of these bags. That spoon needs to stand up straight in the cup after stirring
Yeah, please don’t tarnish Joy Division by associating them with Vance.
Thanks for the reminder, the markdown on mobile caches me sideways if I’m not paying attention (which is more often than not)
I’ve personally never seen it. It looks pretty interesting from the overview. At first glance, it seems there is a very plausible argument for it being considered sci-fi. I feel like there might be a 12 Monkeys sort of vibe to it. Nice suggestion, thanks!
Excellent mention of 13th floor and moon. Patlabor too. Nice!
Excellent mention of the og Mario brothers. Dark city too. Well done!
I was running a video rental store at the time and discovered it as one of our new release foreign titles.
For me would have to be:
Johnny Mnemonic
District 9
Mars Attacks
Natural City
Pacific Rim
*Edit to add 12 Monkeys
Sable. I’d be good with it. Seems like a decent place to live. The jet bikes are rad and doing some sand fishing seems relaxing.
The Last of Us 1 & 2, all the Katamari games, Death Stranding
