I personally like rust, so I get excited when cool things are done with it because each one makes rust just that much bigger, which leads to it being made that much better.

I see projects like that as more of a statement that “rust can do it” than anything.

I like how the moment-to-moment is still strategic and tense, but its not as brutal as something like tarkov. (By default when you die, you keep what you went in with)

I started playing Zero Sievert again and have been thoroughly re-addicted.

Had no idea about eternity, but as someone that used to use Infinity for Reddit before the “incident” I immediately switched to it so thanks lol

I have some faith in Hello Games. I think being skeptical is absolutely the right call, but from what I can tell Sean seems like a decent guy that just got way too excited and started promising the world to people.

The worst part of the NMS incident is that other companies have started doing the same thing deliberately.

Yes. Installing linux in the first place involves putting it on a flashdrive and booting into it.

Full disclosure though: it wont exactly be the fastest system on an external drive.

Also the only person I feel bad for was the guy’s 19 year old son.

Generally I’m a boomer shooter kinda guy, but I have recently been into more “chill in the world and ‘work’ on stuff” games like Satisfactory, Stardew Valley, Slime Rancher, Minecraft, etc

But like you I also occasionally pick up a shorter, story driven game. Fire watch is one of the best games I have ever played.

This is definitely too extreme for most people but I like “Bring Me The Head of The King” by Man Must Die

It’s angry enough for angry me to be okay listening to it but within a minute or so I’m in a better mood because I just like the band.
