You are asking about a game that is widely considered the best in a genre. Everything else will feel different if not inferior.
With that disclaimer out of the way, Battle Aces and Stormgate are worth a look. A new take on the genre and a spiritual successor made by some of the developers that made StarCraft.

Isn’t this essentially the plot to The Girl Next Door?
I don’t know where everyone is staying but I normally get a choice of single serve cereal bowls, bagels with maybe 3 types of spread, some type of juice, coffee, milk, and occasionally a selection of fruit. Everything is served with cheap plastic or cardboard not silverware, glass, cloth or ceramic.
Are you suggesting a Bitcoin exchange also dabbles in selling Magic cards?
I’ve seen doors with motion sensor locks on the inside get defeated by vapes and inflatables. Make no mistake, this will get weaponized if implemented. It’ll be the Kia boyz all over again.
PIR occupancy sensor + thermometer + window open sensor + seat occupancy sensor/scale + door lock/child lock sensor + decibel limit on microphone already in car
Technically possible, yes. Most of the equipment is already there. It’s just a matter of tuning everything to work together to solve the specific problem. The bigger problem in my eyes is most people would treat this as a perfect solution instead of a last resort like what happened with Tesla’s FSD.
+1 for yt-dlp
jdownloader2 also works for this
Double tap. Don’t get all stingy with your bullets.
Piracy is a service problem.
Yes but also it is increasingly becoming a price problem
I remember playing with a similar feature on my Galaxy S3 back in the day. Eye scrolling. The phone would scroll for you when it sensed you looking at the bottom of the screen. That was the S3. It was not perfect but very usable. My hands always felt faster so I never kept it on but it was a fun thing to play with. I’m sure the only thing stopping them is the fear of backlash. We’ll get there in time I’m sure :/
You just gotta let the sink in or something

Customer: my phone doesn’t charge
Estimate:
$100 USB charge board
$50 labor
$10 shipping
$160 total
Actual price:
$120 Screen (OEM replacement)
$75 fingerprint reader+assembly (OEM replacement)
$40 speaker (OEM replacement)
$100 USB charge board
$120 labor
$10 shipping
$465 total
I think most people would swallow the loss and use it as an excuse to upgrade. Use that same money for a new phone instead of a fixed phone
If you send in a phone with non-OEM parts it’s safe to assume that it’s a bit on the older side. You’re probably sending it in instead of buying a new phone because you can’t find a repair shop that will work on your device because sourcing parts can be difficult for older devices. If you’re suddenly hit with a bill that costs more than the value of a new phone, or at least a replacement, suddenly paying becomes questionable. But yeah, you’re right. It feels like theft.
Housing costs money so evicting them is actually saving money. /S
