This is what I had to do couple of years ago: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/amd/-/issues/1500#note_1854170
It seems it has been fixed since.

What? We have them on all doors/windows in our apartment (in Europe) and they very much do not block any air.
I watch Sitting with Dogs YT series, and recently there was a dog in a Cali shelter whose owner went to LA and was disappeared by the ICE. The comments were absolutely vile, and I sincerely hope at least 90% are bots.
Like another person here explained, many of them hate using these thumbnails and titles. Unfortunately, they have to play these stupid games, if they want the dumb algorithm to advertise their content. YouTube all-around has become pretty awful for finding new stuff. Even the search is utter garbage. It’s all about the shitty algorithm.
I’ve seen a comment complaining about too much oil on the recipe for… chilli crisp oil. Idiots are everywhere.
I was groomed by a guy in his 40s when I was 16 to 18. He was also suspected to have sexually abused younger kids. I’ve been in a relationship with my current partner who’s my age for over a decade now. The abuser knew very well how to take advantage of vulnerable girls. And yes. That trauma will stay with me. I still have nightmares. For the first year with my partner I would frequently wake up from these nightmares and be so relieved to be next to my partner to comfort me. I found out very recently that the asshole is still out and about, but got cancer, so there’s some karma there.
I’m sure that if I had better friends and wasn’t so lonely and had a better situation at home I wouldn’t have fallen for this. These abuser really know how to pick their victims.
One of them is a self-employed pentester, they’re very good at it. Pure income. The others are soft devs with their own product.
You can always move the goal post and say their clients are exploiting their employees, but we can keep moving it even further and claim that anyone who lives under capitalism exploits someone else down the line.
I know several (low) millionaires and none of them exploited other people’s hard work. All of them are self-employed, and one of them is the single employee of their company.
Billionaires on the other hand. Yep, no way to get to a billion without heavy exploitation and sociopathic behavior.
People expecting me to magically fix what Microsoft keeps breaking in every imaginable way, update after update, with bugs failing to be fixed for literal years, and then getting pissy at best or straight up an asshole Karen who wants to talk to the manager—or sometimes CEO!—while insulting me at worst, if I’m unable to fix or workaround this horrible closed source, poorly documented hot garbage with no real human support from Microsoft.
Meanwhile Linux. When shit breaks, I might spend days troubleshooting, but fuck if I don’t manage to do it after finding some 5 years old thread on a forum that leads to a line of code in another random thread. Also logs. Love that shit.
On the other hand, our endpoint management solution reported long, continuous uptime even if devices were shut down. Turns out fastboot was to thank for it.
Same here, re: the first paragraph. I received two shirts and a (good quality) windbreaker. I’ve never heard anyone having to buy company uniforms, but I’m in Europe.
I have to occasionally use it. Not often, but there are still times where nothing else works. Sometimes I’ll need to log in to a site, but for a wild XYZ reason it doesn’t work on Firefox, just Chromium-based browsers. Or the site won’t display at all. Or for instance the web devs completely block anything but Chromium with an excuse that “it can’t work on Firefox” (looking at you Apple Business Manager, go fuck yourself). Luckily, it’s rare enough.
Look, some of us are monster fuckers and you’ll have to deal with it.
Which scene exactly? I’ve read a lot of complaints about different parts, but my biggest issue is
at least in the show, they made it look like I should give a shit about Abby’s revenge, when her father and his science buddies were literally about to kill a child who couldn’t consent to this procedure even if she wanted to. For something that would have most likely failed, because if I’m not mistaken, according to the game, they had failed multiple times to to produce a working vaccine at that point. So all that whining about Joel taking away her choice is bullshit drama, because she was too young to consent anyway. That’s why I’m firmly in the fuck Part 2 camp.
I never played the game, but I did know about the first game’s ending and about Joel’s fate in the second one, due to the controversy. I really liked the first season, but the second one just ruined it. It had its moments—sure. However, the entire story hinges on an extremely flawed premise. I just couldn’t get immersed being reminded of it at every step.
I decided to take a peek at the fandom reactions and thought I was taking the crazy pills. Gamers loved it, and of course anyone who disagreed was a bigot or a hater. I guess it’s just my luck to stumble into shows that turn into shit and then get gaslighted by the fandom into believing I’m somehow the crazy one.
For TLOU S2 in particular, Abby can go get fucked, for all I care, and the writers can shove the victim blaming up their ass.
For a European citizens’ initiative to be valid, it must obtain at least one million valid signatures and meet the minimum thresholds in at least seven countries.
Countries over 100% have overpassed their thresholds.
Daily vacuuming, sometimes helped by a robo vacuum. Or you get a breed that doesn’t shed/is low shedding.
We do read what you write, you’re just wrong. Or maybe lacking compassion. Or just don’t understand that everyone is different and that education systems generally suck.
When I was a kid, I had two classmates who had accommodations due to their learning disabilities. Nobody thought, hey, they should “be moved to the institutions that will force them to study”, because they didn’t not want to study. They just needed help. Did the rest of us feel threatened or jealous of them? No. We either didn’t care or were happy they got at least a bit of help in this cookie-cutter system.
On the flip side, I was surrounded by straight A students in HS, but 99% of them forgot the material once they were graded on it and ultimately retained the same level of knowledge (sometimes less!) than me who was a B/B- student. And then people like that go on to be shitty doctors, because all they do is learn by heart with little to no understanding of the material, and the educational system rewards that.
The more I read your comment, the more insane it sounds.
