There aren’t many remakes where you think “well that is overdue”.

The only ones I am looking forward to are Edgar Wright’s Running Man and Barbarella but they are technically re-adaptations.

I saw the trailer for that and it looked weird and exploitative, apparently because it is.

That would have been Secret Avengers.

Norman renamed S.H.I.E.L.D. into H.A.M.M.E.R. and dressed up some of Marvel’s most infamous villains as fan-favorite heroes, dubbing them the Dark Avengers.

Crucially for this theory, he took the existing Thunderbolts team (which is usually villains or anti-heroes trying to redeem themselves), drafted in a few more people and made them into the Dark Avengers.

We don’t have everyone in play but with Rulk in CA:NWO it is getting close. There was going to be a Hercules movie at some point (they should still do that, it’d be a lot of fun) and thst could introduce someone like Ares to replace Thor.

So this is Avengers for all the lesser characters?

Or some kind of darker version of the Avengers… If only there were a snappier name for it… 🤔

That’s a bit harsh - they should have a quota on downbeat covers of songs in trailers but an outright ban on “Where is my mind?”.

Find a smaller instance and use the local and subscribed feeds. Then make use of the tools for more fine-grained blocking.
