There is an easy way to make Pro-Palestinian voices be heard in Germany’s public discourse, stop being silent about the atrocities committed by Hamas. It’s not like the German public is a big fan of Netanyahu, Settlers or starving Palestinians. But it is very hard to support a group constantly victimizing themselves, while there is video footage showing members of its side celebrating the rape and murder of a woman by parading her naked corpse through the streets.

Deutschland hat seit dem 07. Oktober über 300 Millionen € an Waffen an Israel geliefert, davon knapp 100 Millionen € als direkte Militärhilfe von Steuergelder bezahlt.

Die einzigen Zahlen die ich finden kann beziehen sich auf 2023 (326,5 Millionen € in genehmigten exportbeschränkten Gütern, Genehmigungen nicht Lieferungen und nur 20 Millionen tatsächlich Kriegswaffen, ohne Jan & Feb 2024), für aus deutschen Steuergeldern finanzierten Lieferungen kann ich keinerlei Hinweise finden.

Vermutlich hat Scholz einfach das Passwort vergessen.

I wrote “Israel will be free” not “Palestine will be free”, the latter has been (rightfully imo) banned, I haven’t seen or heard of anyone using the former (in Germany).

I’m really not seeing any protesters with “from the river to the sea Israel will be free” posters in Germany, quite the opposite I’ve heard Jewish voices expressing support for humanitarian aid to Palestine and criticism of Israel’s government and the violence committed by settlers. On the other hand a liberal mosque is closing because of the threat of attacks and police have to be posted in front of synagogues around the clock. Who is being silenced here and who is sitting on their asses?

Die “Argumente” der Gegner nur zu lesen macht mich schon wütend:

Die fahren doch höchstens unter Zwang mit den Öffentlichen, aber klar geht es ihnen um ein möglichst gutes Nahverkehrsangebot.

Obviously there is corruption in the EU and its member states and it is causing issues for the people and the operation of the EU itself. In this situation the last thing the EU needs is a large country, with even bigger corruption issues, joining.

Imho he has valid points regarding Ukraine’s chances of EU membership, in its pre-war state Ukraine was very far from ready. There’s a chance the war will help with reducing corruptions, but I wouldn’t bet on it.

Welchen Content du siehst hängt ja stark von der Auswahl deiner Subs ab. Um sich einen Überblick über die Nachrichten zu verschaffen oder interessante Diskussionen zu Themen die mich interessieren zu durchstöbern taugt mir das mit Bildern überladene neue Design einfach nicht. Wenn man Reddit wie 9Gag oder pr0gramm nutzen möchte ist das neue Design vielleicht besser, aber das sind nicht die Inhalte wegen derer ich auf Reddit bin bzw. war.
