What CPU do you have? When you said stutters did you mean like low fps like me? I’ve had my game crash many times because I was travelling through different planets

My experience was 30-40 fps during hub > takeoff > crash > veryfying files

I always believed that they didn’t expect the game would go that big and now they don’t know what to do to cover their own asses.

I installed it because of the free flight that ends tomorrow and it ran horrible on my nvme ssd, I’m talking about freezes when traveling 5-10 fps in space, 30-40 while in the hub, funny thing is that I think it ran better years ago when I was again testing it for a free flight with my Nvidia GPU

So two reasons either it’s a me issue because I have an AMD GPU though yet again, I don’t think so.

Or it’s still really unoptimized, which is a shame because I really like the premise of the game, I like the scale of it and it did things better than Starfield.

It’s embarassing how absolutely shit the GPU market is, I’ve lost any hope. I felt the same way with CPUs not too long ago before Ryzen but now the CPU market is vastly more interesting to follow, GPUs are just stale.

SOCOM can’t be beat, Star Wars Battlefront was also fun, Ratchet and Clank was a classic for me.

There could be technologies that AI can assist with, hell I’m not a game dev but I assume even back in the day, devs used tricks and technologies that today could be considered as AI

However AI as in it will write you code, generate you a game and write you a story? Hell no.

It is scary how the AI can’t assist you with sexual fantasies/roleplays but can assist with that, even though I’m curious what the logs are because I think OpenAI is at least smart enough to tell you “Hey, please don’t do that here’s some numbers” even if you push it I think.

I don’t, I have a 6700xt I don’t remember much about my settings but It’s quite slow when upscaling to 4K.

Funny thing is I still don’t know why they needed a new version of Windows for that, I mean 10 was already bloat they could have just shoved AI into it, as in the TPM 2.0 they could have just made a new 25H(whatever the fuck) version where you’d need to enable that on the motherboard.

The 9070XT is a good card for the price, and that doesn’t tell us a lot, there’s going to be markets where AMD does better and some where Nvidia does better, as an AMD user I feel like they still fall behind with their drivers, I’ve had many Driver timeouts with my RX6700XT just because I was hitting alt tab on CS2, I’ve never had it on Nvidia.

Also someone who does a lot of upscaling with Topaz I would have loved to see AMD making some serious grounds there there’s no reason why they should be that behind with content creators, I don’t think we’ll ever see the GPU department catching up as the CPU did with Ryzen but I feel like everytime Nvidia fucks something up, AMD does the same so It’s a game of who’s going to fuck up more.

I bought the 6700xt just because I was contemplating on the 3070 but I saw it was an 8GB VRAM card and I thought yeah miss me with that shit.
