What about NC content that happened in movies/tv shows ? I’ve encountered some rape scenes, harassment, etc. That scenes can be hardcore or not. Is this forbidden too ? I’ve to take scenes like that as light as possible, making them out of context so it doesn’t seems that “horrible”. But yeah, for hardcore ones it’s not possible. I’m asking this because I’m aware some people may find it very upsetting (even with the assumption everything is done with actors’ consent)

For porn, I’ve encountered one of my favorite rough/NC porn like brutal x. I’ve noticed that at the very end of their videos, they clarify performers directly to make sure everything is done with their consent. Which I think it’s really good

perhaps you could slow down a little on opening new communities? Take a look at the front page in logged-out mode and you’ll see what I mean.

Because a guest only sees SFW stuff. Mostly dominated by us that post Celebrities and do not necessarily mark communities as NSFW. Discovering local communities is now sorted by active users. If a lot of non-celebrities posters actively post/comment and their communities will get higher spots. Btw, it’s only a few of us who post celebrities, I can say with all these communities I’ve only moderated approximately 10-15 posts/day. Maybe less, if me or @SushiMage@lemmynsfw.com doesn’t contribute

I’m sure as lemmy’s grows also this instance (this instance barely one month, btw) we will have new features to take care of all of this and create users’ the best experience. The fact maybe I started early and they growing/active fast, they will appear first when you explore communities.

Still, I don’t see why the celebs can’t just all go in /c/celebs.

Then, the same logic is applied to other duplicate subject communities. Age, pussy, hentai, pornstar, asian, bdsm, tits, dick, cosplay, cum, femdom, freeuse, girls, hair, indian, nsfw, onlyfans, porn, sexy, sissy, tiktok, etc. All this subject has multiple communities not just one.

I still have a couple of communities that have 0 posts. Right now, I’m busy editing the community info by order (from oldest to the newest community) and also contributing. Thanks for this warning. I will try to create some posts on that communities

Update :

I can change it now. It seems that I should choose either “Undetermined” or “English” in the Languages option. So, I choose only “Undetermined”

At default state, Undetermined and English already checked :

At least I noticed that when the community has no icon or wants to upload an icon for the first time. Before that, I never did anything in the Languages option and was always successful 'til now

Well, maybe I just have to wait then. The same browser I used for uploading the communities icon before. I use Brave Browser

It never happened before. I set the icon for my communities from a variety of images format. It’s always successful

It loads like that never end. I tried in the other community, still the same. So, I thought it was a bug maybe. I clean my browser cache multiple times, same result. My internet connection is normal for everything else. This happened since today.

I can’t now update a Community Icon. Is this a bug ?
