I don’t think the idea was mature enough. Yes it did try to innovate and do new things but it also was trying very hard to be familiar to an audience that was never going to embrace change while not changing enough for a new audience to develop around it. I would compare it to the Dvorak keyboard, a device that offered only marginal improved efficiency and use while requiring the user to completely relearn from the ground up and have to fight muscle memory for those who used the popular medium it meant to replace. And in the end, most people said it wasn’t worth it.

I was initially intrigued by having buttons on the bottom of the controller, where your fingers naturally would be thus freeing your thumbs to stay on the pad/sticks. And imagine my frustration to realize those rear buttons are just extensions of triggers already on top. Huge missed opportunity imo that a redesign could have given dedicated buttons on the back of the controller to each finger and expand the possibilities for input combos a player can perform.

TL;DR I think the controller was a valiant effort to innovate but didn’t go far enough or do anything sell enough to stick.

I’ve yet to see any proof Luigi was in New York that day. How has the prosecution not released photos of him leaving central park by now? It’s basically impossible to get into or out of the park without cross at least one camera path. Every woman in my extended family is like this save for one of my aunts. The rest of them can’t understand why I and most of the guys in the family do not want to go shopping with for anything. To them grocery shopping is supposed to take up to two hours, a milk run at least 30 minutes and even just running in quick for a drink or quick lunch is a 20 in minute affair. My sister-in-law acts like it’s an act of black magic I can go to the store, get several bags of groceries and return in under an hour including the drive.

I will never understand how people can think standing around in lines or idly browsing items you have no interest or intention of buying is a good use of their time.

I can strongly recommend a fountain. My current cat isn’t fond of drinking from a bowl, but I found a fountain that I just swap the water every morning on. Comes with different kinds of heads. Somedays he wants a steady flow, other days he wants to nip at water out of the air. Always have a second bowl on the opposite corner of the kitchen just incase he’s been picky, food dish is over in the living room by my computer.
