Avif, the only one that I hate more than webp. 😞
Linux, AI, LGBT and Trump/Musk. Everyone, every day. People need to know about those subjects, but it’s awful to restrict the diversity of the world to the same recycled messages. It’s like hearing Lois Griffin saying 9/11 time and time again 😅.
And then one fediverse logo is three asterisks…

We aren’t talking about the the deceased, but about the one who killed the murderer who benefited from the suffering of others.
Not killing the right people, you know, the poor 😉.

On Twitter, Musk has no workers to contain his bullshit or create a good public image for him. Nor does he have enough workers to keep Twitter running smoothly as it used to.
If they say they won’t share any data if we pay, we can trust then…
At least it doesn’t say “Accept all” or “pay (monthly)”.

SoyTDI@lemmy.worldto Reddit@lemmy.world•Reddit redesign is getting forced onto users without an opt-out optionEnglish31·1 year agoAt first, I registered on Lemmy.world but, after a while, it was unbearable. Sometimes I couldn’t log in because the servers were overloaded, sometimes because they were updating. When they decided to defederate certain instances, I went to eslemmy…until it disappeared without warning. I had the same luck with firefish.social. I signed up to try it out, it looked promising, but it was very slow. Now it’s dead too.
For me, Lemmy was not yet ready for the amount of users coming from Reddit.

SoyTDI@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•Elon Musk's X follower count bloated by millions of new, inactive accountsEnglish221·2 years agoWhen you register, Twitter/X asks you to follow a popular account. He is one of then. The problem is that maybe those accounts are used once to see Twitter content and then forgotten. They could be used to login in a different website. I don’t doubt that he has many bots following him, but inactive bots are useless.
I’m the mod from Hoy aprendí (HA), the spanish TIL. It would be cool to become a partnered community.
It’s innacurate. That was its foot.

I could make them them all, but creating content for all of them would be too much work… I already do that outside reddit/lemmy. 😣
I recognize that avif and webp may have their uses, but for me they are a nuisance every time I encounter an image in those formats.
