If someone wanted to identify their pronouns as “fuck n******”, I’m never going to respect their label or the person as a whole. If you make your whole identity about hating others, then you deserve to either totally ignored or mocked.

Why would a trans woman have any more problem with being called female?
Male/female have a usecase of being used to try to distance oneself from the subjects of your sentence and often used in more scientific or legalistic styles and can come off as dehumanizing as a result.
Imagine if vegetarians started identifying non-vegetarians en masse with the label “Omnivores”. The first critique would likely be, “But it’s normal for humans to be omnivores; It’s the neutral state!”
I don’t see the problem. Non-vegatarians/vegans are already called omnivores and it doesn’t seem to be a problem. I wouldn’t expect them to go out of their way to label themselves as such unless they were saying something like “I’m an omniVore” as a Vore joke. Carnists is the term that’s used to be derogatory (although I think some weirdos who like to define themselves in opposition to vegans do call themselves that?). Likewise, “cissies” is a derogatory way to refer to the cis, but “cis” is just the neutral word used describe them. I wouldn’t expect people to go out of their way to proclaim their cisness, but getting upset that the term exists and people use it is mostly just a bit.
I was tall enough that most kids thought I was strong (I wasn’t, I struggled to build muscle even when I was a gymnast, but they didn’t know that), so they almost never tried anything physical.
As a small child, I was probably decently capable of holding my own enough to deter physical bulling. Starting in 8th grade, I was a good size to deter bulling and not big enough people took it as a challenge. So, never had anyone pull anything physical with me as far as I know.
Also, was weirdly on good terms with a diverse crowd for reasons unknown to me. /shrug
Honestly wonder if I was just too oblivious to be bullied? Like, if you tried, I might just be too confused by what they were trying to accomplish that they just feel like they’re the one being made fun of? Like, I thought being gay was cool, so its not like you could use that as an insult for me. It would just be stolen valor. Guess it could fall into the group of “weren’t noteworthy enough to be victims.”
There’s the stereotype of the quiet kid who eventually does a mass school shooting. That might also discourage would-be bullies, but doubt it.
As long as we keep getting hurricanes knocking out power for millions, the grid should be fine. As long as it doesn’t also take out power stations…
Lots of small paragraphs at least :D Blocks of long text without any paragraphs are scary…
Autistic people tend to infodump as well.
Also accusations of spamming reddit with alt accounts that they claim aren’t theirs.
The feeder there is also almost certainly 45. So not really any faster than normal stroads.
Looks like it also took the Atlantic record for earliest cat5 by 15 days and 3rd was August 5th. At 165mph winds, it’s well within the cat5 category too.
Which one beat it in the Atlantic? Next I see is Dennis, which was around July 8th 2005. Then August 3rd in 1970. Pacific season starts earlier I think, so it beats it easily (May 25/26th in 2014 it looks like)
Hurricane Beryl continues to defy all known logic, now becoming the first June Category 4 hurricane ever recorded in the Atlantic Basin. I can’t even stress enough just how completely absurd that storm is.
But that just means we have room for new records, like first cat 5 storm in June! We wouldn’t want to stop making WRs, right? /s
You technically only need it on one device if you don’t want to be able to copy/paste or use the autotype feature. Which works fine until you lose or break that one device or upgrade to a new one and forgot you needed to transfer your passwords or delete your database because you didn’t remember what it was and wanted to free up space.
And Bitwarden has scary things like “self-hosting”.
Because part of the time they aren’t being paid at all for their work and a good chunk of that money goes into the vehicle and fuel itself. After accounting for all the unpaid labor hours and expenses, it probably still comes out sub-minimum-wage.
How could you be simpler than keepass? Like, there’s more advanced features, but for basic function, its just a password to access a list of passwords.
That’s one potential ending. The other is making people homeless than then making being homeless illegal and using that as a threat against the remaining people…
On one hand, I think some data is better than no data, so I think its fair to say that there is a lack of evidence for it being better in terms of in-game performance after setup based on it and that should just be the null assumption anyways.
On the other hand, its been over a decade since its been pretty well known that average FPS is not necessarily reflective of overall performance and throwing the frametime data into a spreadsheet and doing =percentile([range],.99) and =percentile([range],.999) and then dragging it to neighboring cells seems like a pretty minimal extra work for a commercialized channel. For niche testing like this, I’m less bothered by it because having some results seems better than nothing, but its still nice to see it pointed out.
If they’re just doing it because their boss tells them to, why wouldn’t they admit to it in an anonymous survey?
Trans men are males and trans women are females…
