If you buy and Nvidia card you “pay” for DLSS, since it works by using specific material hardware inside the GPU for the job.
If you buy a Intel or AMD GPU you don’t neither pay for FSR and XESS

They shouldn’t exclusive of each other. You can reach more people to join lemmy by reminding people on reddit they have options if they are honestly (some people just randomly complain to feel special, avoid them) feed off with their platform.
If Valve would release Deadlock for any of those… they would need to.
Unreasonable expensive stuff will sold out by rich people, scalpers and extra rich people who buy from them.
Screwing the economy “frames per $/€” for everyone.
I bet there are no mention of ps5 (or even Sony) in AMD presentation. PCGamesN usually puts random “big” names in their headlines. They could as well title something like “this incredible AMD is perfect to run GTAVI with and ASSASIN CREED twist while you WORLD this WARCRAFT”
No exceptions to Murphy’s law; however, there’s difference if something don’t work with Linux, on Lenovo hardware, because Lenovo tries a new fancy thing and make it work only on Windows (or a multiplayer game doesn’t work because the anticheat is Windows only) and a Microsoft’s thing don’t working on Microsoft’s Windows because is made by Microsoft and nobody else, but Microsoft, has control to fix it.

I think you may still obtain the game if you have a legit third party steam key for the game.
If you’re extra lazy, and don’t want to waste extra clicks on EpicGameStore (once account is made): https://github.com/vogler/free-games-claimer
Windows user asking for help with Windows != Windows user complain about Windows overall.
The first case, ok: you’re being an asshole, answer to questions not made just because you want to feel clever.
Second case, well, we need to check the specific wording/complains. But generally speaking, if someone complain about train or how train make them sick, you may as well introduce them to the concept of airplane/bus/carsharing/teleport or whatever.
In Linux case, I’ll go with sort of reply: “give it a try with this live [reliable] Linux disrto, if like the experience, you may as well try dual booting”
Technically you got refund, you got the 0$/€ you spent back, probably even without noticing.
That patent exired almost a decade ago: https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2015/12/loading-screen-game-patent-finally-expires
corrected.
It’s not about them working on a Linux distro, but a Linux distro’s team working on tandem with them.
Would be great to see RPCS3 team collaborate with the Linux community to create a Linux distro that replace Android on a narrow range of Android smartphones… it doesn’t mean they need to support EVERY android device, just one that has the actual power to emulate the PS3 at decent framerate and price.
billions of saving for (expected) billions of customers: “best I can do is a buck”
Exclusive for PS4, then exclusive for Epic Game Store and also Denuvo to “protect” sales.
Well, I see this as a complete success: Square Enix just protected the sales from the hungry wallets of their fans. Their fans wallet are now not starving, and so they should be happy. SE is a sensible company.
By the way. that was settled long time ago…
