Yeah true, but these are more business to business. RHEL support is pretty expensive, and in my experience Oracle support (maybe not really open source) is both terrible and ridiculously expensive. I have been using Linux for 20 years now, as a main OS for at least 15. Linux isn’t perfect in any way and I have fucked up my system many times. But in those 20 years I maybe have felt to need to ask for help 2 or 3 times, because al the other 999 times with some searching I found someone with the same problem and a solution. When you ask for help for something that can be found with 3 minutes of searching I totally understand people don’t feel the need to help you out.
