I vote for naming this branch “mommy”, since all other branches are it’s offspring, and related to it.

I mean, you can simply define something differently than the last 50 years of researchers in computer science. It’s just not going to make a difference.

I’ve developed “AI” using prolog.
No machine learning, you’re still solving problems using logical reasoning and deduction that’s not intuitively obvious for humans.

I also remember that BMW I think? Had a heated seat subscription and that’s really not justifiable imo

I bought rdr when it releases in PC there, and oh wonder the pic port wasn’t good at the beginning.
Tried to get it to run for the hours, including the launcher update and stuff like that.
No luck, and no refund because I “played” for now than two hours…

corship@feddit.deto Technology@lemmy.world•Tesla is banned from driving schools because of new turn signalsEnglish1·1 year agoNah, automatic are common.
The reasoning is, if you know how to drive manual you also know how to drive automatic, but not vice versa.
corship@feddit.deto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Lemmy, what are some of your "oh shit" work stories?5·2 years agoFrom what I understand you obfuscate the port in order to limit the amount of incoming attacks. But then fail2ban would be a much more effective tool.
The disinterested aspect you described is the actual problem. Because it’s based on the assumption your port won’t be found, but it definitely will, and as soon as that happens you’ll end up in a database such as shodan and the entire effect is GONE.
corship@feddit.deto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Lemmy, what are some of your "oh shit" work stories?11·2 years agoObfuscation is not security, changing the port doesn’t increase your security
I wouldn’t be overly harsh.
Some logos/images/designs are simply hardwired to the function that they can’t remember where the apps are if the logo changes. I’m pretty sure I’ll be the same if I use something for 30 years.

Just because I can only rent a car and not buy it, doesn’t mean it would be fine to smash the window and steal it instead.

It’s madness
