LMFAO, I didn’t even see what community this was in. I thought I was in one of the many reddit, migration, or tech subs. This was an amazing shower thought!

I think only mod specific bots were immune. As idiotic as Reddit has been, it might still be running, but, how will it remind those of us that erased all comments and then deleted our accounts? I have a feeling that wasn’t an official bot, so it was probably programed correctly so it won’t spam them with replys to deleted accounts 😢
Onwards and upwards! Sync will rise from the reddit ashes soon!
Servers are paid a sub-minimum wage, as tips are supposed to round out their wages. When I wanted tables my paycheck barely covered the taxes on my cash and credit card tips.
You will want to tip 15-25%wheb you are dining at a sit down restaurant. If you are at a counter service buisness or café, you should only tip of they went out of their way to make your experience amazing. If you will be staying at hotels, you should tip bellmen $3-$5 per bag, concierge 5-10% of what they have procured for you. Cab’s, Ubers, or any car service 10-20% (I usually do a minimum of $5 here.) if you get asked for a tip on any self-service screen, just deny it, that’s a cash grab for the business owner. You can offer a tip to any employee you want if they go out of their way for you, however outside the service industry, employers will direct the staff to politely refuse.
Double roast beef combo with curly fries and a diet Dr Pepper. I love Arby’s.
Wendy’s used to be the best. But they’ve raised the price and cut the size in pretty much half. Not worth it anymore. The Members Mark frozen spicy chicken filets at Sam’s Club are a great replacement in the air fryer.

What link or info do you have for the community/magazine you want to subscribe to? If you are on Lemmy, you want to go to the communities direct webpage, copy that URL and then paste that into your instance’s search. It might not show up right away, just click the next button, the last button, and again until your server can find it. As long as your instance, or the instance the community is hosted on have not defedraded from one another it will show up in a minute or two.
This release is going to feel like Xmas in July! I’m so excited for this to be released, bugs and all, because I know how amazing it’s going to be!
My accounts are all Gmail or Google Workspace. I have always hated the sorting and display options Gmail allows. I’ve used desktop Outlook forever and have it tweaked exactly as I want it. I’m paying $99 a year for Office360, might as well get my money’s worth.
Hmm… I’ve been using Jerboa since I signed up about a week ago. It’s not perfect, but the only problems I had was last night when my router and access points went offline to update…
Also, I have been using Jerboa for the last 10 hours with minimal bugs…
This is a major Lemmy upgrade, The FYFM server already asked/discussed upgrading taking the server off for a while, or wating another couple days until the full update was ready.
If you’re worried about the Jerboa warning, just hit cancel, it still works just fine (still has bugs as is still in Alpha) life is better, smile and have fun!
Can’t log in, or get the annoying pop-up? I’d rather wait till the full upgrade is ready than have the sever go down twice in a week.
There was a post from the Admins earlier today describing the situation in full. Jerboa still works, just hit okay. The instance will be update in a few days when the Lemmy update is actually ready.
I literally Lol’d at this, being a server at a restaurant in a Downtown area for years, parades were so much worse than protests. I get the point you were making, and I agree, I just found it funny when I read it.
No. I am willing to ignore a lot of idiotic crap on the internet. But no, you cannot compare literal lives lost to a stupid Reddit bot.
