Was Mint with KDE
Now Kubuntu since Mint discontinued their KDE flavour. (Yes you can install KDE but its a hassle to get everything seemless)
honestly, would rather use a linux ~ libreelec/es based device
android is just wasted overhead when it comes to emulation
Huawei and Honor can both survive purely on domestic sales before you even worry about ROW.
No idea why you think there are only three brands, or why you think the US is the only market that matters (it’s fairly obvious you are US based)
Spotify has one of the highest quality services
spotify is a great service for spotify
spotify is a great service for the consumer
spotify is a godawful exploitive pile of manure for artists
We had them in the UK In the late 90’s too (I worked at McDonald’s)
theres other ways. For instance in France its now law (I believe) that car parks (parking lots in US) over a certain size have to be covered in solar panels
takes up no space, covers the cars from the elements and provides power
The French Senate has approved a bill requiring all large parking lots across France to be topped with solar canopies in the next six years, which are predicted to generate as much energy as 10 nuclear reactors.
The legislation mandates that all new and existing car parks with 80 or more parking spaces must be blanketed in photovoltaics covering at least half of their surface area. [link]
Or what are some films that are significantly better than the book they were adapted
One of my favourite books, High Fidelity. I think I am in the age range and demo it was written for, so much rings true. When I heard there was a film coming out I was so excited, and then I read it was being moved from London and re-set in Chicago, and my heart sank.
Boy was I wrong. John Cusack was great, Todd Louiso was histerical, and it was Jack Black’s breakout performance. (I honestly am not sure he has been funnier since)
And the Chicago setting 100% worked, better than London would have
Cycling might be.
Cycling the sport isn’t. The sheer volume of support cars, media cars, motorbikes at every race is utter insanity.
That’s before we get into the sponsorship from oil and chemical companies, and at least two sportwashing teams
Yeh, little worried dev is gonna get a huge bill from Reddit
It’s been very quiet on that front
A lot of people (myself included) are using a modded version of Infinity that allows you to put in your own API key.
I can’t decide. I have used Infinity for years on Reddit. Been using connect and liftoff for Lemmy.
In some ways it feels so warm and familiar to be on Lemmy in infinity, but in some ways, I’m thinking, it’s Lemmy, not Reddit, it shouldn’t feel like Reddit.
I’m very torn
yup.
I’m on several linux channels, and im a mod on a fairly busy mental and physical health support site.
(the latter also has a web interface so 95% of the young un’s dont even realise they are on IRC)
Im on IRC daily
exactly this.
The first rule of Fight Club…
There’s a few providers who have lasted the course, some as long as ten years, but they don’t have superiptv.xyz websites, they don’t have facebook groups, or twitter accounts. They rely on word of mouth and handle their business on telegram/discord etc
The other 30% are the COD players currently missing somewhere in Ukraine
For many years comodo firewall and AV were one of the best, least obtrusive and consistently did well in detection charts etc.
Then I stopped using Windows so no idea what they are like now
Porn and piracy.
The two things guaranteed to drive any platform.
All aboard the VHS train baby…
I have been with the same ones for 6 years and they have had their ups and downs but on the whole have been reliable.
BUT…
Its like Fight Club… the first rule of having a good iptv service, is don’t talk about your iptv service.
Honestly, the good ones, are the ones that do just that and try and stay under the radar. If its got a megacheapiptv.com website, or a facebook group, then chances are it wont be around long.
debrid service is the way, because they have so many other uses besides torrenting.
Personally I just have a Real-Debrid sub for like 3 euros a month and do any torrenting via them.
Also useful for streaming just about anything in Kodi, and for downloading from file hosts
The worst thing about those sites is in most cases it results in the developer being ripped off because the keys are either stolen or purchased using stolen credit cards.
Countless devs have said they would rather people pirate their games than buy keys from those sites
