Well first of all anon is a pillock for paying $100 for a haircut. Any Barber actually charging that amount would have at least given him some hair gel or something.

I pay about 10% of that and it comes out looking fine. Then again, my haircut is designed to make my hair look less stupid, and it’s not intended to me me look like a football hooligan.

I spent a couple of weeks trying to get used to vim and in the end I just figured that whatever performance boost I’m supposed to get by not having a UI, I lose by having to learn vim.

I’m building a new gaming PC and it’s going to be a Linux build and if it doesn’t work the way you guys keep insisting it will, I swear to God.

My last experience with Linux was with Ubuntu about 10 years ago and I can’t say it was a particularly great experience I’m hoping that in the last decade it’s improved its user experience.

If he’s been served it will have been documented, the court won’t have proceeded with the case if they don’t think the person named in the case has been served, so the fact that he didn’t turn up to court means he must have been served otherwise they wouldn’t have had the trial yet.

Loads of people seem to think that you can ignore a court summons by simply refuse to take it. Obviously that’s not how it works if you know that you have been served that’s enough. He would have to prove that he didn’t know he had been served which is pretty difficult.

If a leak causes damage to Nintendo’s marketing plans, then Nintendo shouldn’t have let it leak in the first place. That’s negligence on their part.

I don’t know what you’re talking about because when I tried Linux it was a nightmare. The only thing that worked properly ironically was the printer. It’s straight up would not play sound, if I plugged in headphones it would play sound but it would not play sound through the speakers. There were lots of people telling me I needed to install new sound drivers, or run arbitrary commands. None of them fixed it.

It ended up being a problem with the USB driver. That’s ridiculous, I shouldn’t have to mess around with a driver for an internal component.
