Really I don’t know, surely a bit less but in my opinion, not that much
Vaultwarden is not to be used in itself you can for example use the bitwarden app but with your vaultwarden server
If you can’t self host --> KeePass If you can self host --> Vaultwarden
The requirement of phone number is for me a bit restrictive
Simplex uses Severs, you can bring your own one, but it is not peer to peer when talking about direct communication to the recipient
If you don’t want to use internet the only ways are to use radio or deploy your own network infrastructure (optic fiber or cell tower), so there’s no really any messaging app that can be used without internet. Briar can use Bluetooth but with a limited range, needing an actual dense mesh network.
Did you use virt-manager with it?
Without any kind of software behind GUI this is almost useless and I think that CLI (or even TUI) are today so underrated that we should give more and more power to them instead of GUI
Using virt-manager, never tried quickemu
Definitely if you’re on Linux, use Qemu (and the best is to install a GUI to use it after)
From a previous reply that I made :
Even with a VPN I don’t know if request are really that anonymous (anonimity is almost impossible to get)
The problem is that you can’t customize default settings
You can host if on a vps, use it behind a vpn, or make a whole group of people using it so you don’t know from who these requests were
Rely on a company that is governed by this kind of CEO is not that good
And then the official proton account doubled it soo…
In my opinion you definitely can’t, or need to wait until your strengths for privacy decrease
Why it is important to use alternative metadata fetcher like searxng
Install this flathub app with this command : flatpak install flathub com.tomjwatson.Emote
(https://flathub.org/apps/com.tomjwatson.Emote)
Then next assign a shortcut to open the app when pressing Meta + . for example. (Default one is Ctrl + Alt + E)
Thx
