I’m a bit surprised that Syrians are doing worse economically. I would have wagered that with the lifting of US sanctions the average Syrian would be doing slightly better now.

There was no civil war. There was a US-Israeli proxy war against Syria, Iran and Russia. That doesn’t mean Assad somehow was good, but most of the suffering was caused by US-backed terror groups and crippling US sanctions.
Yes but they all have very bad and non-descriptive headlines. Only Israeli sources mention the origin and destination of the ship.
