Yeah for NVDIA you either wanna use a distro that bakes it in (Bazzite, PopOS) or hop over to tge command line and install the drivers there, e. g. Fedora:

No idea how GUIs are for this nowadays (Manjaro, Linix Mint, Ubuntu, back when I used those distros it wasn’t working too well most of the time).

7·3 days agoI think PopOS is a good option for gaming since ypu can get it with NVIDIA drivers included if you need them but I’d reccommend looking at Bazzite as well:
Generally I’d say: Be prepared to keep an open mind, while you can use Linux like any other OS in most cases nowadays don’t get stuck on wanting to have everything, every workflow exactly like it is on Windoge. Try new things, tinker, it’s fun!
Good news! Weirdly enough, I can’t use tab groups (not able to drag tabs on top of each other, there is no option in right-click dialogue), though I am on FF 138.
Mh, I’ll check out how it works but if I don’t like it I can always stick with

14·4 days agoI sometimes wonder if this really would be the case or if people would step up. Realistically I’m afraid you need a big team to develop a browser that can do everything from videocalls to online docs and 3d games (not very good but it’s kinda amazing).

Mein „Keine weiteren Fragen, euer Ehren“-Moment mit Menschen & Ai-Rotz war ganz zu Anfang als der Schmutz aufkam eine Story von einem Freund, der bei Kleinanzeigen einen Lattenrost verkauft hat und als die Person mit einem sehr kleinen Auto kam um den abzuholen, fragte er, ob sie sicher ist, dass das hinhaut und die Person meinte dann: „Ja, ich hab ChatGPT gefragt“.

I think it’s much sadder (more sad? saddest) that people fall for such absurd douche bags. If they would at least be sexy and seem smart you could understand how people could be fooled but this is just too hard to watch.
