I wasn’t making fun of him at all, merely adding some support to what protist was saying - there’s a difference between saying someone is narcissistic (exhibiting narcissitic personality traits) and saying someone has NPD, or “grandiose narcissism”. I think a small amount of narcissism is probably necessary for maintaining things like self-esteem.
