Oh damn, I wasn’t aware. Never using Ubuntu again if they try shit like that. But if Canonical goes under, won’t that effect Mint? I mean if it is based on Ubuntu? (If my understand of it is correct)
Sort of newbie here as well. Why is it better?
I used Ubuntu for about 2 years in 2006 to 2008, but have been on Windows since. I like Ubuntu, and looking in to dual booting with Windows now. Should I go for Mint instead of Ubuntu?
1·10 months agoYeah, i’m in the exact same position. It kind of sucks that i paid money for it and now i don’t even have access to it because Microsoft did a truly shitty move. It should be illegal to take away access to a product you paid for like this.

It was originally for pancake screens so if you don’t own a VR headset you can still play it. Just buy the correct version though 😁
If you want a closer modern OpenTTD you should check out Voxel Tycoon. A really nice builder in the TTD spirit.

6·1 year agoThe minute i saw that was the minute i changed away from those types of backgrounds on the login screen. In the control panel you can just change it to anything you want
Mindbug - an amazing card battler for two without building a deck. The twist is that you can take the opponents card twice a game. Makes for a super interesting gameplay.
Splendor duel - seen it mentioned before, a really great implementation of the splendor game for two
