Try some of the kbin/mbin instances. I find the interface much more similar to old reddit. But welcome to the fediverse! kbin.social and kbin.run (mbin) are pretty good.

I just tried it out yesterday and it’s basically combined elements from Pokemon (creature collection & design style), Minecraft (crafting, resource collection), Slime Rancher (base building, using the “Pals” as workers), Zelda (hot/cold mechanics, climbing, combat, weapon durability), and a bunch of other elements from other games like a tech tree, recipes,
It’s somehow been able to do that in a really cohesive end product. It’s definitely a mish-mash, and the cutesy pals definitely do look like pokemon characters, but it somehow just works.
I’ve been looking for a code too. Signed up for the waitlist months ago and nothing. Anyone got a code?
Maybe, I’ve got an older cat I adopted from a shelter, don’t know his exact age. But he’s in stage 3 of kidney failure and we’ve got him on the renal diet. I’m excited to read this news and really hope my boy can stay alive long enough to receive this treatment.

5·1 year agoMake an account on artemis.social and then get the Artemis testflight on ios. That’s my main way to do the kbin/lemmy fediverse on my phone, works great.

Vast majority of PC gamers are on windows, yeah. But overall the PC gamer market and console gamer markets are similar. There’s a lot of overlap too as PC gamers also have consoles.
You can play media off it, but the cards were proprietary, expensive, and prone to failure, especially the big ones. I’ve had the 64gb card get corrupted a few times.
