3·14 days agoYeah I’ve had more luck with meshcore for daily use. But it has the issue of no one is using it. And a couple of not so open source parts in the official client.

1·1 month agoWe recently had to get rid of a vendor at work because the private company was bought out by a foreign power. Can’t say more than that. Kinda sucks as now we have to replace some of the infa.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What's the biggest case of planned obsolescence you've dealt with?
28·1 month agoClothing!
Lots of clothes only last a couple of years then they break apart, holes appears, etc…
We have a local collective that fixes clothes and its helped keep them alive for 10+ years now. But jeens, shirts, ect that are newer seem to be worse somehow. They don’t last nearly as long.

7·1 month agoI got mine from a Canadian reseller, shipped to the us that doesn’t have the Sim + I own. If I would have went with the official insurance way, it would have cost 2x ish AND the machine itself can magically last for 10 years since it’s a Canadian model…and all the parts are the same.
GL! Hope you have a great time.
