I’m truly amazed that this was ever a thing. The US is a case study of destroying value while raising GDP.

Expected as the only real value of reddit are its users and the content they generate.
No, it is not. Socialism does not mean statism. Please feel free to read up on libertarian socialism, Anarcho syndicalism or even eco socialism. The Greens/EFA in europe lean towards libertarian socialism.
This is something I’m getting back to appreciating as I get older. Just listening to music. Vinyl also helps the experience because of the whole ritual of putting on a record.
Judaism is not Zionism and vice versa
Throwback to 2008
With the Netanyahu government, that’s the more plausible explanation.
How would you describe it?
Of course this guy talks about something he knows nothing about and continues to promote fascism.
At least now he’s not giving any margin for doubt of his fascist leaning.

The extreme poverty one is laughable especially when criteria to define extreme poverty is ridiculous. Extreme poverty in places where you earn less than $1.90 but can still have subsistence farming and community doesn’t make sense - also if living in San Francisco and earning $2/day isn’t extreme poverty… I don’t know what is.
Poverty shouldn’t be tied to capital but to standards of living - that would be a completely different story.
Rest assured, I’m from Lisbon and all family is as well. I never thought of any place in Portugal as “inbred” (other stereotypes apply to different regions though). Love the Azores, btw.
I’ve always liked tea and coffee, since I’ve first tried it as a kid. It was not an acquired taste for me at all. Without sugar or milk or anything else. I don’t understand the opposite, why do people fill stuff with sugar.
Alcohol, however, has been more of an acquired taste and in my 40s I still don’t enjoy it that much.
