1 year agoInflation/cost of living/etc isn’t singlehandedly increasing “enshittification” but rather the boundless greed of capitalism which seeks infinite growth of profit.
It’s unsustainable so we’d better make more humans to buy more stuff from a handful of people.
Perfect timing for the sentiment. NF Canada axed the $10 stream last month, so now it’s just godforsaken ad stream or the whopping increase to $15. I cancelled last month before this happened, so I won’t get the grandfathered $10 plan. Perhaps a blessing in disguise, because this tactic feels ever so much like being held hostage.
Screw Netflix!!
