Nice! Just shared this (as a PDF without the domain name lol) with my family!
The problem is any oil and gas extraction. They all produce water that needs disposal, so anywhere you’re pulling oil out of the ground this is gonna be a problem (unless you’re in the middle of the ocean I guess).
Technically it’s from water disposal, not fracking. Still oilfield, but it’s not the fracking that causes it.

No, it’s from disposal of the water that’s produced alongside the oil. When you inject water into deep formations, it causes earthquakes.

This was part of the 2.24.0 update that was put out 2025-02-02.
The functionality was replaced with the share button, which has had improved functionality added (sharing on the user’s home instance, sharing on the OP’s home instance, or sharing on the community’s home instance). To open in the browser, you can share and then open in your browser.

7·25 days agoYeah it could be argued that Fastmail is less private than alternatives, but they make a damn good service. Plus email shouldn’t be used for secure communication anyways.
Sorry, I meant to say “not hard to find” definitely still requires work to get there!
I mean they’re not hard if you’re willing to go to a trade school and then put in long hours as a welder or something.
I’m getting the feeling though that that will be off the table.
