If they had a proper air force, the war would be over. Russia has completely exposed and embarrassed themselves at every opportunity.
Agreed. Competition is gone. This is also a sign that there will be very little investment or improvement in the industry, so it now exists primarily to extract wealth from the most desperate folks, until it all crumbles and the golden parachutes are deployed.
All I hear in this instance is, “I’m still ultra butthurt about the impeachments!” Which explains GOP reps’ desperate and embarrassing “inquiries” into anything that oozes out of his mouth. They’re so unbelievably pathetic.
At the very least, this guy should be captured and studied for his completely hairless situation. More naked mole rat than human. But nice try with the glasses…
I wonder if anybody remembers when it leaked Microsoft had a concept of a plan about restrictions on Xbox discs (used/shared), everyone gasped, Sony mocked them in a video about “sharing discs” on PS4 and became a turning point in the console wars…
Even a decade later: Remove discs at your peril! Half the reason I’ve even bought consoles is for Blu-ray movies (still unbeatable AV quality). Sony won both the console and disc drive wars FFS! Still not enough. “Line must go up more!”
I hope MS is at least mocking them back right now, for giggles. Before announcing a very similar thing next year…
Half the population would do nothing, just take out their phones to record it, then pretend they could’ve never changed the result. “I can’t believe the trolley did that! Yeah, I caught it on video!”
They love to punish employees by withholding their paychecks for a few weeks or months. With solidarity and support, the executives will regret it.
On very special occasions I’ll ride an escalator.
Still doing so. Now Comer is targeting Walz. What a surprise. They will never get over T**** getting impeached twice.
Seems quite similar to her answers, but obviously my “deplorably dishonest strawman” was exaggerated for effect.
I wish we could have viable third parties, but without some kind of ranked choice voting they will only remain spoilers. Which leads people to wonder why Stein remains at the top of a party that doesn’t perform well, and actually serves to reduce votes for things they claim to care about. Democrats are a coalition of all kinds, and if enough people would bother to vote in primaries the quality control would only improve.
Sometimes I think people forget we are animals, who have been acting civilized for a relatively short amount of time. Also, there are plenty of ways to damage our brains and increase aggression (violence, accidents, substances, etc).
“Is Kyiv the capital of Ukraine?”
“Yes, yes, we do think Moscow is the capital.”
She said yes twice already! /s
Those early digital years were brutal. 28 Days Later looks worse with every passing year, probably never fixable (the cam’s resolution and quality was just too low).
Edit: Wow, it was shot in SD 480 for some reason (I thought the cam was capable of HD 720). Fantastic article, full of tech details.
I’m trying to imagine how T**** would try to handle this. First, extort Boeing execs in exchange for help. Then, once the “donations” clear, use all powers and pressures to crush the strike, firing so-called strike leaders (illegal? add it to the pile…), and dump in more police/military for intimidation.
Bernie and progressives will undoubtedly fully support workers, join the line. Biden can strengthen his “most pro-union president” legacy (it’s a low bar, not perfect). Great opportunity for Harris and Walz (but it needs to be very strong or it will only disappoint).

Into. The. Sun.
He also brought twenty armed guards (and a medic?). They ate all your food, and ruined your toilet. He made too many “jokes” about impregnating things, chuckled, and left.
Thanks! I was actually cleaning up my comment (and fully RTFA) when I saw that AP link in middle there. Actual photos, great to see.
The first batch is possibly arriving in one city. (Pics or it didn’t happen, of course. AP delivers!) Well, that’s nice… at least they actually exist?! (That’s a bit of a low bar.) But congrats to the first drivers of these little ducks.
I’m worried it’s going to take another decade or three for the trucks to actually arrive in the numbers needed. Hopefully the USPS can survive our deplorable politics until then. They are invaluable for small businesses and keeping all mail couriers competitive.
At least MS account may be slightly more useful (OS, software, school, work). There is literally no reason to have PSN account except a few exclusive games on PlayStation. Even worse are smaller game devs and pubs nagging for accounts.
Of course there is no great reason offline/SP/old games should require an account to play, and out of principle “nope” should be considered. But almost every goddamn thing requires an account these days. At least we have decent password managers now…
